Hedo II Sold Is Good News

Threesome waiting to happen

Hedonism II Sale is Officially Complete

The fact that Hedonism II is sold is good news… Good news for a few reasons. The new owner is actually a newly formed company which is headed by majority stockholder Harry Lange, Jon Gross of UnWind Travel (Fluffernutters), the John Issa Family and Kevin Levee, the hotel’s current general manager. These are all people who understand the special nature of this resort. And as such they are looking to preserve Hedo II for many years to come.

For more than thirty years, Hedonism II has hosted a relaxed, no pressure environment where guests are free to explore whatever alternative lifestyle they fancy. Hedonism is as much about open minds as it is open bars. They have a well earned reputation of shattering inhibitions and provoking the kind of behavior people do not talk about in polite circles.

Marshmallow Limited (the new owners) are not going to re-brand the resort and will continue to operate without interruption to their guests (current and future). All reservations and tour operator contracts will be honoured.

All the paperwork has been completed and the handover should be by the end of the week, said John Issa, chairman of SuperClubs. We are very happy that Hedonism’s longtime friends and supporters are now at the helm and the resort will be preserved for many years to come by people who hold it as dear to their hearts as I do.

Financier, and majority stockholder, Harry Lange is excited to be involved with this Jamaican icon and said, I look forward to leading Hedonism II into its next stage of life and continuing the extremely loyal relationships with guests and travel partners the resort has long enjoyed. We are planning an immediate US$10 million renovation including room renovations, but have no intentions of changing the free spirit of this special place, which will most certainly remain.

So now we can all rest easy and relax knowing our beloved free spirit resort will be preserved for many years to come.

Update: Renovations are underway to our beloved Hedo

Couldn’t agree more, Ted and I have been to Hedo II at least 15 times. There is just nothing else like it, but it had gotten so run down. Give us a call when you are ready to head back and we can check if there are any groups heading there at the same time and tag you in with them…. Sandi
